Rule Change for 2010
There is a new rule change for 2010 which PVA is adopting... Contact with the net by a player is not a fault unless it interferes with the play. Contact with the net that does not interfere with play must be ignored. Players may touch the post, ropes, or any other object outside the antennae, including the net itself, provide that it does not interfere with play. It is a net violation when a player interferes with the opponent’s play by (amongst others): touching the top band of the net or the top 80 cm (2’ 7.49”) of the antenna during his/her action of playing the ball taking support from the net simultaneously with playing the ball creating an advantage over the opponent making actions which hinder an opponent’s legitimate attempt to play the ball

PCC Floor Update
The floors in the PCC gym are partially complete, but the process isn't completed. They still need to put another layer of finish on the floors. Until that is done, they are not allowing any liquids in the gym. If you take water with you to the game, you will be required to take it into the hallways to drink it. This will be the case at least through the remainder of the fall season.
Please be careful to follow this policy. PCC is a great facility, and we don't want to do anything that would jeopardize our relationship. Thanks for your understanding and assistance in this.
Looking for Players? Looking for a Team?
If you are looking for a team to play on, or if you need more players to fill out your roster, take a look on the Forums page. Several teams have posted requests for players, and several players are looking for teams.
Players looking for a team can also put their name and skills assessment on the PVA 'Unaffiliated Players' list, by sending an email to Michelle at
Managers looking for players can also get a copy of the list of unaffiliated players by contacting Michelle.
